What we’re looking for
- Speculative and near-future fiction with a real idea at the centre
- Science fiction that takes its science seriously
- Intelligent thrillers where the premise does the work
- Novels that sit naturally beside the non-fiction we publish
- Complete manuscripts — fiction only, please, when it is finished
What we’re not
- Fiction with no connective tissue to the subjects we publish
- Partial manuscripts or early drafts
- Series proposals resting on an unwritten first book
Everything else in selected fiction — we genuinely want to see it.
